Bank of Maharashtra(BOM) recruitment - BOM looking for 650 Clerks

Bank of Maharashtra (BOM), is one of the oldest public sector banks of India. BOM currently has a network of around 1400 branches & around 340 ATMs, spread across the country.Bank of Maharashtra has announced recruitment for 650 clerks.

Position – Vacancies – Payscale :
Clerk – 650 posts (state-wise) – Rs.7200 - 24900

Eligibility : Candidates interested to apply for clerk post in Bank of Maharashtra,
1. Age limit - 18 – 21yrs (for UG) , 18 – 26yrs (for graduates), as on 1.6.2010
2. Pass in 12th with 60% marks OR Degree from a recog. university, as on 1.6.2010 (must have scored minimum 60% in Maths at SSC/10th std level)
3. Must be able to read/write/speak official language of the state applied.
4. Candidates should also have knowledge about computer operations.

Selection : Candidates would be shortlisted based on their Maths mark (above 60%) & will be called for Interview.A written test & computer proficiency test will be conducted for the selected candidates, before completion of 6 months probation. Only those who successfully complete the test will be offered appointment.

Application : 1) Candidates will have to pay Rs.25 (SC/ST) & Rs.100 (OBC/General) to the mentioned account at any of the BOM branches. The payment info have to be mentioned in the online application at www.bankofmaharastra.in
