Puduvai Bharathiar Grama Bank has been established as per RRB Act 1976 with 50% shareholding by Govt of India,

35% by Indian Bank and 15% by Govt of UT of Puducherry.

Applications are invited for the posts of Assistant Managers (officer scale-1) - post 1. And Office Assistant - multi purpose (clerical cadre) - post 2 in Puduvai Bharathiar Grama Bank(regional rural bank sponsored by Indian Bank) to work in various parts of UT of. Puducherry.

Educational Qualification:

For Asst. Manager:

Bachelor degree of a recognized University in any discipline or its equivalent. Preference will be given to the candidates having degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisiculture, Agriculture Marketing Co-operation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy

Office Assistant Multipurpose:

Bachelor degree or its equivalent of a recognized University in any discipline

Age limit:

As on 31.12.2010, Age should be between 18 years and 28 years.

Eligibility:

1. Essential: Proficiency in Tamil language

2. Desirable: Knowledge of computer skills

Selection Procedure:

The selection will be made on the basis of performance in the Written Test and Interview. All the eligible candidates

who apply with the requisite fee in time and who fulfill the eligibility criteria will be called for a written test comprising

both objective( in Test of Reasoning, Numerical Ability, English and General Knowledge) and descriptive tests .

Negative marks will be awarded for wrong answer in objective test. The candidates securing a minimum 40% marks in the written test shall qualify for interview.

For SC / ST / PWD / EX - Serviceman candidates: Rs 50

For all others including OBC: Rs. 350

Payment of fees will be made either

i) at all the branches of PUDUVAI BHARATHIAR GRAMA BANK (by using separate challan by downloading the

same from our website); OR

ii) by NEFT/RTGS from any other Bank to the account of Puduvai Bharathiar Grama Bank with Indian Bank,

If payment is made by NEFT/RTGS, candidates have to collect the UTR Number and name of the bank and
